Zero-Knowledge Architecture

OmniVault encrypts all vault items locally on your device before network transmission. Your master password never touches any cloud server or network packet.

macOS Security & Gatekeeper Note

Because OmniVault is a free open-source build without an Apple Developer ID certificate, macOS Gatekeeper may display a warning: "OmniVault.app cannot be opened because it contains malware".

To bypass quarantine & open OmniVault:
  1. Open Terminal app on your Mac.
  2. Run command: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/OmniVault.app
  3. Or right-click OmniVault.app → select Open → click Open Anyway.
